![]() Yan Lau is an Economist in the Bureau of Economics at the Federal Trade Commission. His research focuses on applied microeconomics, including labor economics, the economics of education, and public policy. He is also interested in experimental economics and political economy. He received his Ph.D. in Economics at Princeton University.
Originally from Hong Kong, Yan has lived (at various points in time) in Seattle, Singapore, Upstate New York, New Jersey and Oregon as well. In his free time, he enjoys attempting new recipes, swimming, and vacuuming. |
